2014: Earned PGA TOUR Latinoamérica conditional status by finishing T38 at the Qualifying Tournament in Sebring, Florida in January… Collected top-15 finishes on his first four career starts on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, including a T8 finish on his first very first Tour start at the TransAmerican Power Products CRV Open in Guadalajara, Mexico in March. Finished that event one shot behind seven players who advanced into a sudden death playoff for the title… Resumed the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season with a T9 finish at the Ecuador Open in September and a T6 finish at the TransAmerican Power Products CRV Mazatlán Open in October.

2012: Turned pro in September.

AMATEUR CAREER: A member of the golf team at Stanford between 2008 and 2012, where he was named All-Pac-10 Conference second team as a freshman in 2009. Was named to the All-Pac-10 Conference first team as a sophomore in 2010. Also named Academic All-American… His career highlights include runner-up finishes at the 2004 U.S. Junior Amateur and the 2010 U.S. Amateur… One of six amateurs to participate in the 2011 Masters where he missed the cut by three strokes with rounds of 72 and 76… Competed in the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional CC... Was the No. 1 ranked player in the World Amateur Golf Ranking following a sensation summer in 2010… Helped the United States defeat Europe, 13-11 at the 2010 Palmer Cup at the Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. Was undefeated in his four matches, including a victory over Henrik Norlander in singles competition... Fired a final round 65 to capture the 52nd Porter Cup at the Niagara Falls Country Club. Finished with a 13-under score of 267 on rounds of 65, 72 and 65... Defeated UCLA junior Gregor Main to capture the 108th Western Amateur at the Skokie Country Club in Glencoe, Ill.... Advanced to the finals of the U.S. Men's Amateur Championship at Chambers Bay (Wash.) Golf Course before falling to Peter Uihlien, 4 and 2 in the 36 hole final... Captured the 2009 North & South Men's Amateur Championships held at Pinehurst No. 2, just outside of his hometown of Fayetteville, N.C. Defeated Wes Bryan, 4 and 3 in the 36-hole final... A three-time qualifier for the U.S. Amateur (2006-2008)... Was the runner-up in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in 2004 at the age of 14... Advanced to the semifinals of the 2005 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship... Was the runner-up at the 2005 Western Junior Amateur Championship... Captured the 2005 North Carolina Junior Championship... Was selected to the East team of the American Junior Golf Association's (AJGA) Cannon Cup in both 2005 and 2006... A 2005 second team Rolex Junior All-America honoree and the 2005 Carolinas' Player of the Year...
