Gustavo Acosta won the OHL-Round of the Week
Rio de Janeiro , ( October 21, 2013 ) . -Argentine Gustavo Acosta, with a 62, 7-under par earned OHL-Round of the Week honours at the 60° Aberto do Brasil, presented by Credit Suisse-Hedging Griffo, earning a $1,000 cash prize. Each week the owner of the best round of the tournament will win the award.
Acosta , 43, had an inspired day on saturday , with two eagles ( 3 and 18 ), four birdies and a single bogey that let him jump from the 24th spot to the top of the leaderboard.
"I hit the ball very well and I left many very close to the hole that helped me to make many birdies (three in row 11 to 13 ). On 18 -par 5- I made a great second shot from 190 yards with the 7-iron and it landed to 12 feet to make an eagle ",said the Argentine that made his first cut in five starts on Tour this year.
Philippe Gasnier also had a 62 during the tournament but the tiebreaker favored the argentine as he finished in a better position.
Acosta became the second player to get this new award (a $1,000 prize) which will come into play every week.

OHL- Round of the Week
Starting in the second half of the 2013 NEC Series – PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, players will be playing for the OHL- Round of the Week which will be awarded to the player who shoots the lowest round at each NEC Series - PGA TOUR Latinoamérica event. The player with the lowest score will receive a $1,000 prize courtesy of OHL.
In the event that two or more players tie for the lowest scoring round, the tie-breaker will be determined by the overall tournament standing of the players.
